Running a coffee shop in Latte Land is a little bit different than in the real world. Instead of customers coming in and telling you what they want, they assume that as a barista, you will have a better idea of what they want! So when you're serving a customer, read what they are saying and see if you can figure out what they like, or don't like.
Some customers will like almost anything and will happily drink whatever you make. Some will only like one or two drinks. And some will only like one special drink that might be particularly hard (or expensive) for you to make!
Make sure to closely read what the customer says before you serve them. For example, if they are asking for something "cold" and you serve them a hot drink - they aren't going to be happy! As you get further into the game, it'll be harder to figure out what each customer wants.
Once you've served a customer, you can click to see their page, will show a tally of what you have made for them and how much they liked it. That way, the more you try to serve a customer, the more you'll learn about what they might like.
When you are looking at drinks to make in the "Brew" part of the page, you might notice some different colors. When a recipe title is Orange or Yellow it means that you have a chance of failing at making that recipe as it's still too complicated for you - increase your Brewing skill to ensure you can make it. Green means you won't have any trouble making that recipe. If you see an ingredient or equipment listed in Red it means that you are missing that item so can't make that recipe at all!
