Welcome to Latte Land!

Latte Land is an online game where you are a barista (like a chef, but for coffee!) in the magical world of Latte Land.  In Latte Land, everyone drinks coffee, it's the national beverage!  The rivers run with cappuccino and it rains machiato!

The Basics

As a barista/coffee shop owner, your job is to serve the customers who come into your store and make them happy.  Happy customers will pay you money and give you experience points, which you'll need to advance in the game.

In order to serve a customer, you need energy (your energy is listed in the Latte Land menus at the top of the page).  You start with 24/24 energy, and it will cost you 3 energy to serve each customer.  You regain energy at 1 point per minute - so you can serve 8 customers every 24 minutes.

As you serve more customers, you'll get paid different amounts by different customers, and will also get paid differently based on how well you make a coffee or what coffee you make.  As you play more, you'll learn what to make when, but in the beginning, just play around and see what you like!

Once you've made some coffee for a little while, you'll need to buy more ingredients.  Coffee is made with coffee beans, water, and sometimes milk.  You can buy all of these items by clicking on the "Shop" button in the menu at the top of the game.  You also start with one coffee maker, but will need different coffee makers and other equipment in order to make other drinks - you can buy these in the store as well.

You can also learn different drinks to make for your customers, you can also buy new recipes in the shop.  More advanced recipes will be harder for you to make (you might fail at making them sometimes), but you'll get paid more when you succeed, and you'll need to learn those recipes in order to advance!

Once you've gotten far enough in the starting area (Machiato Heights), you might want to consider traveling!  Click the "Map" button to see other places you can go to right now, and figure out where you'd like to go to.  When you move, you'll see new customers, have access to new kinds of drinks, and lots more cool stuff - but it will get harder to please customers!
