When you have Stardust, you can use it on drinks that are not "grey" in your brewing list. Grey drinks you will make perfectly every time, so there's no need to use Stardust on them. A green, yellow, or orange drink will have a chance to fail or be mediocre, so that's when you'd want to use it.
As you can see in the picture above, to use Stardust, just select the recipe you want to make, then click the Star icon to the right-hand side, and "activate" it. It will turn gold, and then that drink will use 1 Stardust and will always be brewed perfectly!
Remember, some customers still won't like your drink, so it's best to use Stardust when you know a customer likes your drink, you're just not skilled enough to make it all of the time!
