**** PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS WALKTHROUGH HAS MY HARD WORK AND TIME PUT INTO IT. DO NOT USE TAKE THIS INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF CAFEMOM (IE FACEBOOK) WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF MYSELF (TANGLEBALLLOVER) OR THE CAFEMOM TEAM. THANKS ****
Good
day, Brewer's Square Babes! :) Welcome to the official walkthrough!
Here you will find all of the spoilers for this area in a fairly
well-organized fashion so you aren't spending a lot of time sorting
through information. Nothing in this post will be whited out. This is
a walk-through, so it will be to the point. :D
Keep
in mind that the recommended brewing and marketing skills set in place
by CM for this area are recommended for a reason. If you move earlier,
this can be a little challenging!
Also, for anyone still unfamiliar with how to properly use Stardust, click here.
This
is still a work in progress and there are a few things I'll tweak as I
refresh my BS memory! Please feel free to PM me if you want to add to
the information or see a mistake, like I said I'm refreshing my BS memory :)
Now let's get started!

- Artist (Common) - HQ The Warhol
- Average John (Common) - HQ Iced Coffee & Cherry Danish
- Belly Dancer (Rare) - HQ Shackera Shake
- Blues Musician (Uncommon) - HQ The Warhol
- B.S. Criminal Mastermind (Uncommon) - Café Latte & Chocolate Chip Cookie
- B.S. Neighborhood Gossip (Uncommon) - no green entry
- B.S. Police Officer (Uncommon) - HQ Black Coffee
- Doctor (Rare) - HQ Peppermint Latte, HQ Chai Green Tea Latte & Coffee Cake (also green entry, makes significantly more JB and XP than the Peppermint Latte)
- Friendly Ghost (Common) - HQ Chai Green Tea
- Hacker (Uncommon) - Shackera Shake
- Inventor (Rare) - Chai Green Tea Latte & Coffee Cake
- Mad Scientist (Uncommon) - HQ Nutty Mocha
- Partner-in-Crime - HQ Hysteri-spresso
- Pregnant Mom (Common) - HQ Labor-inducing Decaf
- Snow Bunny (Common) - HQ Global Positioning Coffee, HQ The Warhol (not green, but she likes it pretty well)
- Suspicious B.S. Police Officer - HQ Black Coffee
- Worker Bee (Rare) - Blueberry Latte
- Unfriendly Ghost - Ghost Trapper Brew
The drinks that have HQ next to them are High Quality made with the Extra Special Dark Roast blend. I highly recommend using these beans unless you are trying to get an item from a customer because they give you the chance of some extra energy too. The recipes without HQ mean that making it High Quality made no difference in the amount of money or experience you will earn.
- Mad Scientist gives Satellite Spice for Global Positioning Coffee
- Artist gives Magnetic Compass Blend for Global Positioning Coffee
- Average John gives Cartography Capsule for Global Positioning Coffee
- Partner in Crime gives spray to get rid of Gossip which will bring the Snow Bunny around
- Blues Musician gives the Ghost Trapper Brew recipe and Blues Band (+2 to Marketing)
- Friendly Ghost gives the Shackera Shake Recipe
- Hacker gives the Global Positioning Coffee Recipe and SM3 Cash Register (the latter of which you will want to sell when you get)
- Belly Dancer gives the Labor-inducing Decaf Recipe
- Inventor gives Gratuity Goo (inspires customers to be more generous), Sammy the Service Robot (+2 to Hostessing), and the Gaudy Neon Sign (the latter of which you will want to sell when you get)
- Snow Bunny gives the Lift Ticket that is your key to get to MM
Using the Super Butterfingers Blend and having the Amythest Basket will help you tremendously with getting items. When you get to the point where you are trying to get the 3 ingredients for the Snow Bunny's recipe, you will learn that some customers are even MORE stingy than the Bully, Yoga Instructor and Nanny. Another good tip: when you have the ingredients for the Snow Bunny's drink, make sure that you use Stardust when you make the Global Positioning Coffee so you don't fail (unless it's a grey entry in your recipe book). I made the mistake of taking a chance on a yellow entry and failed the drink and did NOT get my lift ticket. It took me 3 days to get all three ingredients back.
Beans:
-
Tea (2 Java Bucks each, sells for 2)In Latte Land, even tea comes in bean form. (Some recipes will call for Green Tea, so make sure you have the correct kind!) -
Dark Roast (25 Java Bucks each, sells for 19)Hip but overpriced, much like Brewers Square itself (Not sure what effect these beans have!) -
Lottery Blend (40 Java Bucks each, sells for 30)Good luck! (Not sure which effect these beans have!) -
Strange Beans (40 Java Bucks each, sells for 30)These beans are so high-energy they throw off energy to the brewer!(Give extra energy) -
Green Tea (50 Java Bucks each, sells for 38)Made from Camellia Sinensis leaves that have undergone minimal oxidation. But you knew that. (Again some recipes will call for Green Tea, instead of regular Tea, make sure you have the correct kind!) -
Special Dark Roast (60 Java Bucks each, sells for 45)A quality bean for the true connoisseur (Like the Quality Blend from Java Valley) -
Extra Special Dark Roast (75 Java Bucks each, sells for 56)High quality and energetic! (My blend of choice because they make High Quality drinks and give extra energy) -
Rock A Bye Beans (200 Java Bucks each, sells for 150)Naturally decaffeinated, great for babies or those who want to have them! (These beans are for the Labor-Inducing Decaf recipe) -
Super Butterfingers Blend (300 Java Bucks each, sells for 225)Will convince your customers that they really want to give you something. (Useful when you need to get an item from a customer) -
Murray Venkman Beans (2500 Java Bucks each, sells for 1875)Incredibly powerful beans that can be used to deal with spirits from the paranormal coffee world! (These beans are for the Ghost Trapper Brew recipe)
Ingredients:
-
Milk (1 Java Bucks each, sells for 1) -
Syrup (3 Java Bucks each, sells for 2) -
Chocolate (25 Java Bucks each, sells for 19) -
Tomato Soup (35 Java Bucks each, sells for 26)Not something you see in most coffee shops, but some customers have unique tastes (Used in the Warhol recipe) -
Flour (50 Java Bucks each, sells for 38) -
Crazy Powder (100 Java Bucks each, sells for 75)There is a certain customer you're never gonna survive unless you get a little crazy.(Used in the Nutty Mocha recipe)
Another tip: Just because you use the blends/beans that make High Quality drinks, does not mean that EVERY time you will make a High Quality drink. It gives you more of a chance to make one though. The same goes for Super Butterfingers Blend, you will not get an item every time you use them, but it will increase your chances.
Also: the Super Butterfingers Blend have the exact chance of a customer leaving an item as the Butterfingers Blend, but the Super are way more expensive!

QuikCafe (1200 Java Bucks, sells for 900)A special device that makes your brews just a little bit better. (+2 to Brewing Skill) -

Before you attempt the Ectoplasm award, make sure you have received the Ghost Trapper Brew. After that all you need to do is piss off the Friendly Ghost by serving him a drink other than his favorite, I recommend Lockjaw simply because everyone hates it! :) Once you have pissed him off and received your award, use the Ghost Trapper Brew to make him friendly again. There is also a Ghost Trapper Brew award, so continue to piss him off and trap him again, but remember that the main bean in the GTB is very expensive (2500 a piece)!

Additional Tips:
- It costs 3000 JB to travel to BS and 10000 to set up a new shop. It costs 1000 to travel back to JV, in case you are coming up to buy equipment, or decide to go back if you think it is too challenging, so make sure you leave 1000JB in the bank for emergency road trip :)
- The Recommended Brewing Skill Level is 45. The Recommended Marketing Skill Level is 10. This is WITHOUT your +__ that equipment gives you. Please remember that these are guidelines that will help you be able to serve more customers and serve the correct drinks!
- The total cost of all the equipment is 167,800JB.
- The total cost of all recipes is 20,200JB.
- To make the Criminal Mastermind your Partner-in-Crime, serve him his favorite drink. After you have the Partner-in-Crime, you will see the Suspicious B.S. Police Officer. The Suspicious PO will charge you a fine of 200JB sometimes for working with a criminal, so you can always abandon him if you do not want to take the risk of losing some money!
Each zone has three numbers that control your marketing in that area:
MInimum Marketing: This is what is listed as "Recommended" on the map.
Maximum Marketing: When your marketing is this skill, you will no longer miss any customers in that area
Customer Chance: If your marketing level is at the minimum, this is the % chance that you will get a customer.
As your Marketing scales from minimum -> maximum, your "hit rate" will scale from the customer chance -> 100%. It works like a ratio, going back to good ol' high school math:)
As with everything, the game is very random, so just like you can flip a coin 10 times and get 8 heads, you can also have an 87.5% hit rate and get 5 misses out of 7 - it stinks, but it's just randomness:)
BS: 10/25/75
This means with 10 marketing you have a 75% chance of no no-shows.
11 is 76.7,
12 is 78.4,
13 is 80.1,
14 is 81.8,
15 is 83.5,
16 is 85.2,
17 is 86.9,
18 is 88.6,
19 is 90.3,
20 is 92,
21 is 93.7,
22 is 95.4,
23 is 97.1,
24 is 98.8,
and 25 is the point where you will have NO no-shows.
