I really like dresses and skirts as well...but have not really worn too many since I gained all my extra weight.
I'm on my way, though, working my numbers back down...I'm looking forward to getting to my goal weight and going shopping for some nice dresses...and making some REALLY cute aprons which reflect ME more!
How often do you wear dresses? I started to, but then dropped it, dress in a dress once a week with my daughter. She doesn't wear dresses too often, and I think it would be nice for her to KNOW how to carry herself in a dress.
I think Husband would love it if both his girls would wear dresses everyday...I'm not thinking I could convince her of that one though! LoL! It was hard enough to get her to agree to that one day a week!
I love watching that 18 and Counting show about the Duggar Family. Although I don't share their religous reasons of why, I do admire them for how all the girls wear those long dresses/skirts and are all very modest!

You look great in dresses!
I honestly think I no longer own a dress!!! I have several skirts, but no dresses. I need to buy a dress! ( I tried on several about a month ago, and I hated the way they looked on me - they were too clingy to my flabby belly, lol).
Thank you!!! I got it at target actually. They have really improved their clothing section.... plus Im on a whole new budget LOL who isnt??

I could never wear those - not to mention, my hubby would DIE if I did, lol!!! I have no problem with modesty (I'm pretty modest myself), but there's a difference between looking modest and looking frumpy. JMO :)
We don't watch the show, but my sister called me to turn it on the one night where the boy and girl were getting married. My husband saw it and was like, What the he11's up with their hair??? THat was the onlly time I ever watched it.

I LOVE Target! Actually, NOT going to Target is my money-saving strategy, lol!!! I bought and returned a dress there - it was SO cute, brown with tiny polka-dots and tank-top sleeves. But it just clung to my tush and tummy in a not-so-flattering way, haha!
I think they always look so nice?? So I'm just a little confused?? Especially when the girls wear their long denim skirts and cute tops. I know the older girls all give each other perms at home. Their hair is beautifully done always...long with the perms, very pretty...I wish mine looked so nice.
I'm wondering if you might be thinking of the Bates Family. I don't remember how often they were seen in that episode, but I'm sure they were. They visit the Duggars often and their daughters all dress in like pioneer type dresses, and I've mostly seen the older of their girls with their hair up in buns or the like.
As for the way the Bates dress...I'm always for anyone who "goes against the grain". But, I don't see myself enjoying wearing pioneer like dresses myself. BUT, the long denim skirts with the stylish tops, like the Duggar ladies wear...yeah, I could do those!
