Just over the past couple days I have been getting a lot of braxton hicks contractions. I don't remember them happening so early with my first two, but maybe I just don't remember. Anyone else getting them? And it's not just one here and there, it seems like they come pretty often and are very uncomfortable.
I've been getting them since 18 weeks. Also I get "irritable uterus" if I do too much, especially walking. Then the irritable uterus will cause BH which get very painful, like I'm gonna start my period. I asked the doctor about them at my last appt, and he said as long as they aren't coming every 10 mins for more than 2 hours it is ok. Which is kind of stupid for him to say because if it goes on for 2 hours and I dialate, they wouldn't have time to get me to a hospital with a NICU. HMMMM. If I were to go into labor early, if they could stop the labor I would be sent down to Okinawa, or to Hawaii. If I go into labor early and they couldn't stop it, I'd be sent to a Japanese hospital 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic.

This is my third baby and I've been getting them for months now too. I get them all the time but usually they are the worst after I've been exerting myself. We've been packing to move at the end of the month and I pack a box and get them. I have to sit down for a few minutes then pack the next box and get them again. I wouldn't say they "hurt" but I don't like the way they feel. Like you said they are uncomfortable. They feel so much stronger than with my other two pregnancies but probably because I know what they feel like more than I did with my last pregnancies.
I've been getting them also. I had asked my dr about them before and he said the more kids you have the more you feel everything sooner. That's about all I know. Sorry it's not much help, but if you ever need better answers I suggest to ask your dr. It never hurts. Good luck!!
With each of my pregnancies they've started earlier for me :( This time it was around 18wks and now at 24wks I get them everyday a few times a day, I get back contractions and they hurt like heck!
I started getting them at 17ish weeks.
Sometimes it hurts and sometimes it doesnt.
It seems to be worse after I do something active.
