Please tell me I'm not the only one obessed with getting my house organized and spotless before the baby comes. I'm only 27 weeks (tomorrow) and I have been nesting like crazy for the past month. My house is a huge mess, but it is because I have been going through room by room cleaning out junk, clutter and trash. So far the girls' playroom is done and thier bedroom will be done once I can get a dresser for the baby. My room is sort of in progress. I do it when I have time, normally when the girls are in the bath or when they're playing in the play room. The school stuff is almost organized, I need to get some more organizers, so a trip to the 100yen store will happen next week. My living room is scary. It will be the last room I touch because it became the dumping ground. LOL. But I can see the big picture of it when it is done, and it will be so freeing to not have all the clutter to trip over and look at. I am excited about it. I just hope I can get it all the way done before Ruthie gets here.

I havent done anything yet but I look around and think about how much I want to do. My baby shower is in 6 days and I think Im more anxious to set up all the baby stuff than I am about anything else. I want to set it all up and start getting this house cleaned up and dowsized right after the shower but I think people will come over and think Im crazy for having his crib and everything set up already. Im 28 weeks. will be 29 at my shower. We didnt put my daughters crib up until 20 days before she was born. but that was right after my shower and I got her crib bedding from it. hubby is deployed so In a way I also think I should wait until hes here to put the crib together. Dunno if thats to much for me to be doing.
OH trust me you are not the only one! lol the sucky part about my house is that my brother moved in with us about a year ago and he is in our spare bedroom which is totally gross now and the guest bathroom which I put alot of work into is totally trashed so he moves out at the end of December and my mom (biggest neat freak I know =) is gonna come and help me get my house all nice and pretty again =) so I have fought so many urges but I know its gonna get done =)
i am 27 wks today and i've been cleaning and organizing my house like crazy for the last week or so its never been cleaner i dont think lol puts me in a better mood til hubby or blake messes it up then i get grumpy and i clean so much my hubby has to tell me to take a break i drive him nuts lol like one night i think i had my vacuum on for probably about an hr lol
Oh yeah I am doing the same thing. I have even talked hubby into organizing our attic! Like anyone even goes up there. I have redone my daughters room so many times she wakes up in the morning and runs into her furniture that wasn't there the night before (she is two) and my son (who is 5 and sharing his room with his new brother) is getting angry because he cant seem to find any toys he is looking for. I hope it calms down before my family puts me in a hotel lol
Good to know I'm not alone in this madness. Our house here is so small that I feel like I need to empty it before the baby gets here to I can make room for her. We live in a 3 bdrm that is more like 2 very small bdrms and a closet. The playroom is the closet room and all 3 girls will be sharing the second room. Good thing we'll be moving before the baby will need to be in a big girl bed. (we move when she is 2 almost 3)

I have stuff that I want to do. The want is there, but I dont have the motivation or something to just go ahead and get up and do it. I had a day last week where I just got fed up and I organized our room but Ive never really got the nesting bug with the boys eihter. If anything I just get lazier lol. Im really lucky though bc hubs and I try to spilt the house work and keep things clean together even though Im the sahm. He takes care of the kitchen and I do everything else. Considering we are just in a 2bed apartment its pretty equal and the boys are getting old enough to pick up behind themselves. I am starting to feel anxious to get her things put together but I cant bc I cant start buying anything till right before she gets here bc we have the holidays to take care of and my ds #2s bday.
