i wish i could help but i am in need of answers as well! My son is doing the same thing and i have no idea what to do! hope it gets better for you mama!
I think it's a phase and will pass if you gently but sternly say that it is unacceptable. That's what I would do. Our little one once did that, where he threw some toys and was just very bad, but we thought it was really cute and funny. He is normally a very good child so I didn't worry.
My son throws tantrums but mostly only because I wont pick him up when he wants me too. I dont let him cry long before picking him up. I am his comfort and when he does that it is because he needs or wants me for some reason that i dont know because he cant tell me. I pick him up and as soon as I do he stops. I dunno I may be wrong but I feel this wont last long, One day he will grow up and want nothing to do with me, so for right now........I will hold him while i can. Sometimes yes It frustrates me, but when I get frustrated I remind myself that hes just a 'baby' and that it wont be like this forever.
my 16 month old daughter has the toughest attitude of all my 4..and shes the youngest! the others are 5,4,2...my goodness lol she throws tantrums..wants to hit everyone hit whoever bothers her lol wow...she is a big sweetheart too and loves making evryone laugh..they all have different personalities..only my 2 yr old is a boy..the rest are girls
my son is the same way sometimes he throws a fit for no reason..wat i do is pick him up tell him to calm down in a smoothing voice (might take a few mins) and tell him no we dont throw fits like that...if he is really really really bad i give him a pow pow then he stops and i tell him now that wasnt fun was it he normaly responds with a no so i tell him see we dont throw fits like that...he normally stopes but i realized if he is really bad normally it means they r tired..
