Hello everyone!  Hope everyone is doing well.. I was curious as to if anyone elses children are doing this already.  My DD is saying uh oh and then grabs herself to basically tell me to change her diaper what Im not sure about is if she has been wet and she is just telling me or if she had just went withint the past few minutes and she is telling me to change her.  Is anyone elses children doing the same thing?  I dont know if its to early to start trying to train her yet.  She watching her older sister going to the bathroom on the toilet all the time so Im wondering if she is making a connectiong between the two now.. I have tried to sit her on the potty a few times but she doesn't like it very much she still seems to be afraid to sit on it... :/

Actually, our daughter is doing the same thing. She will let me know when she needs to be changed, and she also has sat on the potty a few times. I'm just kind of following her lead. She has 2 older brothers and she is a whole new experience in potty training. Lol. So we'll see how it goes.

First of all Id say get her her own little potty because the big huge one in the bathroom Im sure is very intimidating to her. My 19 month old has two little pottys, one in our bathroom and one in the living   room. i used to put him on it diaperless but not anymore. When i go to the bathroom my son will follow me in and sit on his lil potty for like a few seconds then get up n play that tells me  he is comfortable with sitting on it at least :)  He too takes his diaper off when he can if he can when he goes potty. He knows what going pee is. Ithink ill get more serious about potty traning when hes two though unless he shows signs of wanting t sooner.

My daughter has gotten to where she takes her diaper off. whenever she does I take her to sit on the potty and tell her this is where you go pee pee. she likes it, and this morning she took her diaper off and i sat her on there and she did go pee pee! They are growing up so fast.
