My name is Teri. I am the Admin for this group. I am a single mom with two kids, Catherine (16) and Christopher (Chris) (12). I have been a single parent for 9 years now and it hasn't been an easy road. I'm sure I could have done a lot of things differently, but my kids and I seemed to have gotten through it with just a couple of battle scars. My best friend told me once that she thought she wouldn't be able to make it if it had been her going through the things that I did. I told her that I got through it because of friends like her to be that shoulder and offer those words of wisdom. That's why I am in this group. My journey isn't over yet...I could still use a shoulder to lean on and words of wisdom...but this time, maybe it will come from new found friends.
