As moms, sometimes we forget to enjoy the moment, seize the day, and laugh until it hurts. We sometimes are so wrapped up in the day-to-day things we face. Things like never-ending dirty diapers, laundry, dishes, cleaning, wiping noses, and picking up. In fact, we are so wrapped up in these things; we often forget this is not our main goal. Sure, I like a clean house as much as the next gal, but our children are only little once, and only for a short time. Enjoy them while you can! One way that I have found I am able to do this? Laugh! Until it hurts, even!
Sometimes, after having a sleepless night with a newborn, playing hard with a two year old all day, and helping a 9 year old with homework, I forget to have a sense of humor. I recently heard something I know I will be keeping close by for those very days!
Nick Cannon has a new comedy album called "Mr. Showbiz". Trust me it will make you laugh until you cry - and mom this may very well be just what the doctor ordered! Not only is there an album, which released on iTunes Monday May 16 and will be in stores May 31, 2011, his first ever stand-up special was on Saturday May 14. I believe Showtime will be replaying it so check it out!
Nick is such a talented person! He is a comedian, actor, and host. The new season of American's Got Talent will be starting May 31, 2011. Nick is also a new dad. He and Mariah Carey are thrilled with the birth of their twins.
