This group is for moms who will be having a hospital birth, but want to make that experience as natural as possible. We are not pro-hospitals. If you have the opportunity to have a homebirth we strongly encourage it. We are here to offer support and information on how to have as natural of a birth as possible in a hospital setting.
This group does not define natural as merely delivering a baby vaginally. This group is for women who do not wish to use unnecessary drugs or other interventions typically used in a hospital setting. Sometimes it is impossible for a woman to have a homebirth whether it be for medical or financial reasons we are here to offer support for those women, without being judgmental.
If you're a Midwife, Doula, or even a homebirther, we encourage you to join us as well! If you are educated in natural childbirth we would love for you to join and help us accomplish our goal of a safe and natural delivery, and protect ourselves from unnecessary interventions and cesarean sections!
