I am so glad I have found this group, I thought I was the only one (or only one of a very few) who does not like Jon. I am so sick of hearing people talk about how they feel so bad for him and can't believe he put up with her for as long as he did. (ROLLING EYES) I never liked him, not from the very beginning. Was Kate a bitch from the beginning, yes, but she has 8 kids. Hell, I only have 1 and I'm bitch. Plus back in the beginning Jon said things to Kate that were down right mean. If he were my husband I would have kick him in his sensitive areas. And now that TLC has removed him from the show he gets his lawyers to stop the production of Kate's new show. If Kate was the one running around with flavors of the month half her age and talking about how much she hates him, he would get full custody of the kids. Ugh!!!!!

yep!! he's a real piece of work. he has always been an ass and always will be. he is an imature child ie a man! lol he is a follower and these gold diggers are telling him to jump and how high to jump and jon, being the good dog that he is, obeys. lol this will all come back to bite him in the butt. just wait, he'll see. and i don't think bing assertive and strong is being a bitch at all. lol i myself am strong and assertive, lol good to meet you. this is a great group!!! welcome!!!

I think Kate is just a normal mom with a large family. Was she bossy? OF COURSE. I have 12 kids and when you have a large crew, you have to be bossy. Women can multi-task, but men cannot. As mom's, we run the househol and know what needs done and when. I love my DH dearly, but he has to have instructions and reminders to stay on task. To an outsider it may sound bossy or controlling, but to us it is the norm of what needs to happen for things to stay running smoothly.
It is sad that so many judged her from the get go. They took her assertive and "keep thing running/under control" way, to be derogatory toward him. In all honestly I don't think it was bad of her in any way. Part of the gift that God gives us as mom's of large families IS the ability to keep things running and organized. I think she does great. Has she made mistakes, yes I'm sure she has. The thing is that so has every person who gripes about her. None of us are perfect and that sure as heck doesn't give him the right to go run around and pretend to be a teenager.

I agree 100%. She did all of the house stuff ALONE !!! he is a weinie !!! I hate him and hope the show does air with just her and the kids !!!
