Yuk! Muddy Puppy! =)

During the rainy, muddy and snowy season, it's hard to keep my house from getting muddy when I have to let the puppy out.

When I let the puppy back in, he goes running around the house right away and gets the house muddy.

Besides using a towel to clean up the muddy puppy, is there anything else I can use or possibly buy to prevent the house from becoming muddy after the puppy comes back into the house?

Well there are high volume blowers like the groomer use if you can train them to stand the the porch or whatever you can try to blow a lot of the water and dirt off them before they come in. In Oregon it is just not enough to keep the dogs cleaned off and the house dust free some the dirt they drag in, during the winter.

I got a steam Mop that is the best for cleaning up the floors.

Snow boots that he can take off at the door? lol  We don't get snow but my dogs loves the mud.  I keep a towel and some baby wipes by the door so I can clean him up a bit before going inside.  It's not perfect but with a dog you kind of have to expect an occasional mess :)
