HELP ME WITH A NAME!!

Here is the blind Pittie we are adopting as soon as transportation from Washington State to here in Colorado can be worked out.  He is named Gucci( YUK) and we figured new life....new name....leave all the ugliness behind.

Back story.....brought to the vet on deaths door and abandoned there.  The vet being 10,000 in services into the dog wanted him taken to the shelter...cause we all know how easy it will be to adopt out a blind pit bull.   He was on deaths door and had to be resuscitated twice. One of the Vets techs who is a pit bull owner and lover worked tirelessly to find a foster home for him. She had a rescue that would take him but he would be kenneled so she didn't give up until she found a family for him. :)  We came across him on facebook which is hilarious because I rarely ever go on there and well it was love at first sight and hearing of his story

So ladies I usually prefer "people" names for my pets but am open to ANY suggestions

I have sort of gone the other way now and have not named the dogs human name recently being Trooper and Badger is my new pup.

But everyone has their preferences.

What about Ray after Ray Charles or Stevie :)   after Stevie Wonder, or Tom after Tom Sullivan an blind author .

Our dog's name is Jackson.  what about Rainier?  That's a mountain range in WA. Tacoma would be a cool name too...

I like using Tv or movie character or someone famous. We have a cat Dexter(from the Tv show serial killer) Cleo short for Cleopatra also a cat and Zoe(dog) form Hart of Dixie played by Rachel Bilson. So are there any names like that that you like? We also used to have a dog named Ozzy (Osborne)

What about Jax, Jack, Charlie, Sam, Flynn, Jasper, Brody, Riley, Blake.

I LOVE the name Riley....I wanted to name my DD that but I knew so many kids with the name.  LOL  It would be hilarious to yell for him and watch heads turn thinking I am yelling for their kid.:)

Yeah Riley is super popular. Before my dd went into kindergarten we had a cat and we couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl. He wouldn't let us see LOL. So we named him Riley. Eventually we discovered he was a boy. Then when she started kindergarten there were two girls named Riley in her grade and now my DS is in kindergarten and the is a boy Riley in his class.

First, I want to say how wonderful you are for giving this boy a loving home and a second chance. I wish more people would rescue these dogs. He is a handsome guy!

As for names... going by what he looks like to me...  Sullivan "Sully", Sampson, Cooper, Pete, Beau, Charlie, Eli, Rex.

I think He looks like a Sammy or Samson.
For my family we have a "lee" ending theme. My dds are Emily & Riley. Then our animals are Mollie, Wesley, Harley, Hadley & Bentley

Excellent choice! I knew the best Sampson in the world. He passed away a couple of weeks ago. What an awesome dog.

Good luck! I hope he gets home to you soon.
