I need advice

Our puppy, kay, has been doing pretty good on house training (as long as we are here to take her out, man I hat surgery), we are working on chewing (all things that I know you have to deal with with a 9 week old puppy. But the problem I am having is my one year old daughter is scared to death of her. She is a sweet heart and doesn't try to hurt anyone. Her nails are a little sharp but she could be standing across the room see Kay and run away screaming. She is ok with her as long as she is in my lap and the dog is sitting on the floor, but thats it. Any advice.

I would just say give it time.  If your pup isn't actually hurting your little girl...  When you get some more obedience down with your pup then you'll be able to calm the pup quickly putting it into a down or sit when your daughter is near by.  But for now, just give them time.
