Hi everyone, i'm Gayle and i have 3 kids (2 boys and 1 girl). just the other day in church there was a really good sermon mentioning how important it is on how you choose the people you have around your family and how it really affects things. so it got me thinking on how i should get a group going so that moms can meet other moms who share similar values.

thats awesome! thanks for the group!  After becoming a Christian you really do think twice about the people you and your family are around. Fill your minds with the things of GOD!

so true, of course we have friends who aren't christians and we don't discriminate at all...we aren't those "holier than thou" people....otherwise how are you going to help others get saved? but i do want to have our children raised around people who share the same morals and values as we do, people we'd feel comfortable leaving our kids with one day even.

This group is a really great idea. I realize when I am out and around my 'non-religous' friends that there is a certain something lacking in my relationship with them. I have come to realize that I do love those friends but that God is such a major part of who I am that when I can't share that I just don't feel right.

But about me.. my name is jenny i have 1 son, Tiberius (ty for short), who is about to turn 11 months and I just can't believe how fast this first year has flown by. I am married to my high school sweety who has been the person to reconnect my relationship with God. I was raised in a Irish catholic family where anything but the catholic church is wrong. But once I was older i rebelled from that and God until I met my husband, and now we are all very happy Christians.

I work as a freelance graphic designer and I'm a SAHM. I love doing both but it can be a bit stressful. Since being married I lost a few friends, and when i had Ty it seemed I lost quite a bit more. I would love to meet up with other women and their families and maybe meet some real friends.

Hello, I'm Julia. I have two boys. Damien will be 3 in October and Gavin just turned 1 on June 27th.  My husband's name is Drew. I was raisedknowing Christ and I thank my parents for leading me to Him, I did stray from God in Highschool but my parents were ferverent in praying for me during those hard years. I ended uo marrying my highschool sweetheart, who is not a believer. I realize as well how important it is to stay connected to the body of Christ, but at the same time welcoming all people as well inorder to be a godly influence on their lives.  I am also a SAHM, and I am still hoping to that I will be able to continue homeschooling my kids. As a mom and wife I am thankful that God has been teaching me to be self-sacrificing and patient. I admit I make a lot of mistakes but God is really working on me during this time in my life. Also, I have learned through my mothering the important and value of nurturing my children. What a blessing they have been in my life :)

Hi. My name is Jamie. I am the proud mama of one 6yr dd. I am not married (yet) but have been w/my SO for 11yrs.

Both my parents came from very strict catholic homes so when they had my sister and I, they decided not to raise us in the church. After YEARS of searching for something I couldn't figure out I found the Lord and became a Christian a little over 1yr ago. It's amazing how much your life changes when you give it to the Lord and how relationships with people change. It's all for the best and I am the happiest I have ever been.
