So i am outo f ideas.  I decided instead having no porject this week (again) that I would let it be up to all of you.

 

Sew whatever you choose.  Then post it here.  Thats it.  It can be halloween based, baby items, decor whatever even an older project that you love

I hope to see something from all of you!!

My sewers choice project this week is:

A Ruffled hat for my dd

She needs it for a girl scout field trip on monday and I found a super easy tutorial (ill have to find it again and post it later) and it came out so good

SO this first pic is the out side.  the requriement for the field trip is a funky hat and i thought while not really funky it was at least bright and colorful.

This is the inside of the hat.  I absolutely love this fabric and am axiously looking for a project that would be great for but its kind of funky and bright too and I love it

And this pic you can really see the contrast of the two fabrics.  Oh yeah since the top fabric was so "thin" i added some sew in interfacing to gie it a bit of body and to help keep her head warm.

Looks great!  I am working on some "moma cloth" pantyliner/pads.  I will post pics soon.

My nursery is sock monkey themed (since we decided not to find out the sex) and I took some extra fabric and made a little covered baby wipes container.  It's amazing what a little decopage can do.  I wanted to get some actual sewing done, but since I'm due on Thursday I thought it would be best not to start anything new
