Hi ladies! Would you yoginis be interested in having a pose of the week post in here? Something we can practice on in addition to our own routines and post any questions, feelings, results, revelations, etc. to share with each other. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this or what poses you guys would like to do for this. Peace out!

Namaste,

lynn

Yes! Great idea! It should be made a sticky and maybe you tube would even offer tutorials on certain poses!

Yay! I know I'm constantly referencing yogajournal.com, but they have a reallllly extensive guide to all kinds of poses. So I will find us a good one and get started. Any suggestions, please pass along!

I took 2 class at the yoga journal conference with Natasha Rizopoulos. So I am going to put out the challenge she wants all yogis to do. A 5 min. down dog. She thinks that this is better than doing all the push ups in the world to gain upper body toning

That sounds like fun.  I think I'll give that a try.  I'm sure after a 1 minute or even sooner the burn will set in.  That will be a fun goal to work towards.  Thanks for the suggestion.

I am going to challenge myself with this TODAY and I am uber excited about it....I've been wanting more definition in my arms and upper back. I bet listening to a song or two on the iPod would really help....but probably something yoga-inspired would be best. LOL No Metallica while I'm goin' inward, methinks :)

Thank you for this challenge!
