Hello everyone,

I want to get my oldest a yoga mat of his own (he is 6) but I have heard some mats have really bad smells for many weeks when new. It has been about 10 yrs since I bought my mat, so can you recommend a good, enviromentally friendly yoga mat?

Married 15 yrs; together 20 yrs. I work outside of the home, DH cares for kids at home; Sam (5 1/2 yrs) and Becca (26 months); 1 cat (Thorin; Gandalf RIP), 2 dogs, and one really old house.
