  •  Mine isn't a paint, but a dark brown glaze. I use it over every white object i spray or paint. It's such a beuatiful tint and easy to work with!

Valspar Mocha translucent glaze...already mixed and ready to go! It's about $15 for the container but it will last you forever.

  •  For my one sons bedroom we are going to paint each of the two opposing walls the same colors.

He has chosen Valspars Hacienda #30031 in my fandeck but # 2010-4 at Valspars site, and 40033 Blue Signature. I was not able to find this color at their site

    Professional interior decorator and organizer.

    welcome to cafemom

  •  I have Breakers in my DR.

A VALU color but I had it mixed with Dutch Boy kids room paint.

Still love the color but it has been 8 years and I want to change to something a bit lighter as the trees block the sunlight and I have dark wood furniture in there.

I am going for an updated French Country look where I can still incorporate my rustic pieces.

  •  Behr Ultra Forever Black...paint and primer in one! Very thick paint. If you're using this over something with a glossy finish, you CAN use a deglosser, but it's not necessary. I just make sure the piece is clean and dry.

You will need 2 coats of this at least. Make sure you let the first coat dry!!

  •  Iam not sure of the brand but I think it may be Color Creations or Concepts.

I painted an Ethan Allen bench this color. LOVE it.
I had the bench in the entry but decided to put the oak one back in as it matches the table and chair set in the den.

The black one is now back at the top of the stairs where I can enjoy it with my true French Country curtains and pillows.

Makes for a nice feminine reading area.

  •

    Valspar Satin White

To age it a little....I rub ...Valspar Mocha Glaze on it.

Let it sit for a few minutes and get  damp paper towels and rub as much as you want off. It looks great on furniture with detail or molding!

  •  I dont think you can go wrong in using white or cream.
If not in your wall color then in accessories but sparingly.

Changing your wall sconce candles to a white or cream will enhance brighter colors within the artwork. The same goes for the matting and a floral arrangement.

    These colors are considered clarifiers.

  •  I painted my entry, the den and kitchen Dune from Walmart. Used Sherwin Williams paint.

Looks beigey brown at times then golden brown other times.

Not sure of the name of the DR paint a couple shades lighter and is more of a true beige.

The LR is called Sawgrass.  Not sure but I think the chip is Ralph Lauren's but I had it mixed with Sherwin Williams.

Color appears the same as I described for Dune but with less intensity.

I recently decided to get rid of the "Colored" walls and add color in the way of my softgoods and accessories.
