so, i have been having some really bad acne lately. i am pretty sure it has to do with all the ridiculous hormones... anyone else have this problem???

pre pregnancy i was using the clearasil morning burst stuff to help, and it used to work, but for the last 2-3 months it hasnt helped at all... and now that i am pregnant, i dont think i am supposed to be using it anyways because of the salacylic acid in it...

So, what do you use for acne? any recommendations for something safe during pregnancy that will help?

What else do you do to take care of your face?Any tips and ideas welcome!

Hope this helps!

What cleansing routine should I follow if I’m pregnant?

Here is a recommended cleansing routine for pregnant women:

  1. Wash your face 2 to 3 times a day with an oil-free mild cleanser. Some cosmetic brands and natural skin care products use oil-free ingredients. Use a fragrance-free soap.
  2. Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water and get rid any soap residue. Gently pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Use an astringent that is non-medicated (if you use it).
  4. Apply an oil-free moisturizer.
