Cervical Mucus?

I've just recently gotten my cycle back (I think) after having a little boy in December 2010.  It was very light and short and very light.  I've been checking my CM to watch for changes in it to try to time when I'm ovulating.  I've only been doing this about a week and have seen little change.  But, I'm still wondering if what I had as a menstrual cycle, was really that.  I don't know if I'm even capable of ovulating yet.  My question is, if I'm producing CM, does that mean that my cycle is back, or do you produce it if you're ovulation or not?

So, does it not change consistency if you aren't going to ovulate?

If ur not going to o then no. Most woman will experience fertile cm around o time. It will be the consistancy of water or egg whites.
