I have multiracial children... But I am one myself... Mixyure, Black, Mexican, Indian (Hopi), Dutch and Jewish... Hubby is Samoan~ My experiences of being multiracial has been for the most part good. I have friends of all backgrounds and cultures and I think being mixed help with that because your openess.  However I myself have experienced racial harassment before by being called a "halfbreed, sell out, wanna be Mexican" by a ex co-worker. (That's a whole nother story) Anyhow the experiences with the kids have been o.k. I have had one incident with the SIL saing "Hi Monkey" to my youngest and her claim she didn't know it was offensive. To this day I don't believe that. But being mixed has had more good experiences then bad....
