I am engaged to a Kalenjin fellow and I would like to learn at least some basic Swahili for when his Mom flies in for the wedding. The problem being that all my money is going toward the ceremony with nothing left for learning aides. Are there any reliable online or other free sources of information?

Livemocha is a wonderful resource and a ton of help! The other site doesnt seem to have any channels from any swahili speaking countries :(

I wonder if your local library has any learning resources? I know ours has for several languages. I've never checked for Swahili though.
