Does anyone here study Arabic? I gave up a while ago because it was too hard for me.

I do. I have 4 semesters of really good grades in Arabic at University of Michigan. The arabic I learn there is fus7a, in the home we speak English and Darja. Darja is considered Arabic but it is unintelligible as Arabic to other Arabic speakers especially those from the middle east.. It is more Berber and some French than anything.
