Thanks for joining the SCUBA Moms group. I'm so glad you joined! I know that the group isn't very active right now, but I'm planning on sending out an e-mail to all the members and get it more active again. I appreciate everyone who comes to visit, and as group owner, I will make more of an effort to make this group more fun and interesting to visit!
I do think it's hard for people to talk about SCUBA when we don't have (1) time or (2) money to go--a bigger challenge after kids! :-) I would LOVE to get back in the water again, but haven't been diving in almost 4 years--since before my youngest daughter was born! My older daughter is 6 and would probably love to start snorkeling soon and talks about wanting to SCUBA dive when she's older too! :-) Can't wait to go somewhere where everyone can get in the water and enjoy the sea life!

I just joined, but I hope to come by everyday to see what's going on. Diving season is quickly coming upon us and I can't wait!!!

I just joined. I'm here in wintery Wisconsin. I have three daughters - a 4 y/o and 18 month old twins. No family members are willing to watch all three so my hubby and I can take a dive vacation. I NEED your dive stories. I can't spend my free time reading Mammas debate some of the stupid crap on other groups. Please - inspire me with great dive stories!

We're so glad you found this group! I don't waste my time debating stuff on other groups either. I spend enough time debating the merits of one pair of shoes over another with my 6 year old! LOL
I can't wait until my kids are old enough to go on dive vacations with us. In the meantime, I can dream about winning the lottery and going to someplace like a Beaches Resort where the grownups can go diving and they have awesome kids programs too!
Cruises have some great kids programs and give the parents some adult time, but it generally doesn't give you enough time for much diving...
