disorder of lactation?

i was talking to my case manager with my insurance today and she was saying that in order to qualify for a breastpump that i have to get a script saying that i have a disorder of lactation.what the crap does that mean?

Hi - could you ask your doctor to write a script?  It can be hard to hand pump - a breast pump is so much easier.  Also, with your first baby it's easy to become engorged.  A breast pump will help with that.  Good luck.  Let us know how it goes.  I hate dealing with insurance.  Our health care system is so screwed up.
