I joined to honor the memory of my mother-in-law, who died of breast cancer at age 53.

My mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in February 2008. It went into remission after surgery, chemo, and radiation, but returned in January 2010. She's had two mastectomies (two months apart) and two skin removals/grafts since then. She's currently receiving chemo and we're waiting to see what happens next.

Almost every one of my aunts are survivors of breast cancer but they have beat the odds! My mother in law too has been diagnosed but luckily its been in remission for over 10 years! Ive been lucky to have such strong women in my lives and i support every person with and who knows someone with cancer!!!

My Mom is going on 10 years and my sister will be a 1 year Survivor in October....
