Found out in June that I had a BRCA mutation in June. Was referred to the breast cancer survivorship with specialist that work strictly with breast cancer patients and BRCA posirive patients. Had mammogram, MRI, and manual breast exam. Suspicious lump found in my left breast. Had sonogram and the radiologist felt it was abnormal and decided to do a needle violation. All this was done yesterday. That was a lot of emotional feelings to deal with in one day. I should find out results within the next 2 days. Just a little nervous and needed to vent. I am 29y/o and this doesn't seem real.

I'm glad to hear it was benign! I had my own scare recently (it was a couple of cysts), and the waiting can certainly be torture.

Even though the Needle Biopsy is nothing to laugh about, the Needle violation is a perfect name for it! LOL
I am having my second (this year) Needle "violation" this coming Friday.
Good luck to all of us!
