In half an hour I will be having a biopsy on a lump in my right armpit. I have had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. They are now concerned about me developing lymphoma because of my extreme fatigue and pain all over my body.
One of the many risks of cancer treatment is developing a different kind of cancer later on after treatment is finished.
I implore all survivors who had chemo and radiation or both to be vigilant about checking yourselves for any lumps or bumps and making your doctor hear you when you are concerned. It just could save your life again!

Biopsy went well I should know by Friday. I will so be happy when I find out it's truly nothing!

Hurray! The results came back negative! They ran it twice because the first results came back suspicious, and they have me coming in next week to see my oncologist to discuss another pet scan.
