I just found out this evening that my mom has breast cancer. she's 59. They found it really early and it was so small they couldn't even see if on the sonogram they did on her breast. She and the dr. are really hopefull and have every reason to believe everything will be ok. It's just hard for me to say "My mom has breast cancer."
I already started collecting Yoplait lids before I even knew and it's crazy to me that I just so happen to find out during the month of breast cancer awerness.
So My mom had surgery to remove the lump but once they went it, it was worse than they thought. She is going to have more surgery, radiation and chemo. They thought in the begining that it was small enough that they wouldn't need much radiation and wouldn't need chemo at all, but now that's not the case. I'm scared, but hoping and praying for the best!
My mom is a 22 year
survivor, we wish you nothing but good things. Glad they caught it early.
MY FAMILY WILL KEEP YOUR MOM IN OUR PRAYERS. KEEP US POSTED.

I have been in your position. My mom was diagnosed about 2 years ago. She had surgery and treatment and has been in remission for 1 year and they are optomistic that it will not return. Hugs.
Keeping prayers for your mom! My mom also had breast cancer at 45, it is hard to know that they are fighting for their lives.
