What happened to High score?

It happened again!

I was number 7 and 8 in the top 10 scores in Tri Peak Solitare. For the second time, I am not on the list. Instead, there are 4 others with the exact same score.  I thought the whole idea was to get a higher score.

I spend at least 2 hours a day trying to better my score and I get bumped????????? Does anyone have any experience in this or know why this happened?

I know this is just a game, but why am I wasting my time if I lose my status for no reason? It's really frustrating.

BTW--I posted about this issue the first time it happened,  then somehow my score was posted again a few minutes later so I deleted my post in this forum.

You're referring to the all-time high scores, correct? So you had 22660, and now you've been bumped off by other people who got the same score more recently?

If that's the case, it looks like it's programmed to list more recent scores first in case of a tie. The nice thing about this is that new people get to see themselves on the board. However, you're correct that it's not quite fair to you. We'll think about implementing a better solution in the future.

I totally understand about being a new person and seeing your high score posted. I, obviously was in the same position not that long ago.

Also, if the scoring is as suggested, I feel bad that I may have caused someone else to be bumped from the all time top ten.

You want to keep your regulars happy, yet want to encourage newcomers as well. So I don't know what the answer is.

Regardless, thank you for your reply.
