Just wanted to say hello

My husband is already stationed at Ft. Irwin, and my children and I will moving out with him in June. We're letting the girls finish the school year. Just wondering if you all could give us an advice on the living conditions there and recreation. My husband often works on rotation, so I'm sure the girls and I will spending a lot of time without him.

 We've been here about six months now.  It's a very small base and very secluded, but I've gotten involved in PWOC church bible studies and have met some great women there.  There are parks here and things for kids to get involved in as well.  I hope to get my son involved into some summer sports and activites this summer.  =)

I guess I'm a little late reading this post, lol...With the move, I didn't have very much computer time :) 

Thanks so much...We've been here a week now and already bored out of our minds, coming from a big city to this post is a big change...We look forward to getting involved in everything we can
