Anyone have any ideas for things to do around fort irwin? we moved here about 3 weeks ago from Fort Drum and are thying to find something to keep the kids busy until school starts. the housing area we live in only has about 10 houses or so, and no one seems to come outside much,( maybe because it's so HOT here) so we haven't really met anyone.

We live or will be living in Cactus Cove on Aug. 8th. We have 2 kids. We are ways wanting to go out and do stuff. I sure hope that we have friendly neighbors lol...

I moved here 2 years ago..i've only met people though my husband's friends' wives, I live near 5th street and its a good size neighborhood...i know one person, and that is because our houses are connected!
