Hey! I'm not trying just yet... My miscarriage happened on christmas day and completed naturally by january 5th 2012. I've had bleeding until about a week ago and now feel like I'm finally getting my first period since. Fingers crossed that's what it is so I can move on and get ready to try for another baby! My husband and I actually have a trip planned in april and since the miscarriage I'm terrified to travel pregnant so we'll be holding off until just before the trip to start ttc. However, I've never fallen pregnant easily so I have lots of plans in place for march - the first ttc month.
I have ovulation tests that I plan to use, am starting 2000mg of evening primrose oil this cycle and planning to bd every other day from end of period to ovulation. I want so badly just this once to have a "first try" baby. My baby died around december 4th 2011 and I want nothing more than to have his sibling growing within me, or in my arms by that date next year. I think it will just help me through that very tough anniversary. Any thoughts on what else I can do?

Oh forgot... I also purchased preseed lubricant to get the little swimmers close to their target quickly - that's the plan anyways!! Wow... Overboard or what?

Im on cd12 today, we BD'd today just for fun & bcuz my DH is outta town for the weekend for military. We plan, well I should say I plan to BD everyday starting when he returns. Not sure we'll do everyday but I really want to try. Im in the process of switching to an all natural/organic diet + taking tons a vitamins, lots of folic acid, baby aspirin, fish oil ect. & am gonna try gettin my butt in the gym. I figure the healthier I am, the better shape my body will be in for possible implantation & better for baby if we should concieve. Possibly getting those cheap ovulation tests at the dollar store. REALLY hoping for bfp for a valentines present! :)

I do not have much choice on how I can get PG when the husband is on the road most of the time. I watched Dr OZ the other day and they say, since I am 40 and trying to get pregnant. My chances to get pregnant is 5%. I am not sure if that is correct or not, cause if it is, I do not know what to do.

First thing to do is to not believe the hype. Doctors are a good source, but they don't know every thing. I'm 41 and had a lost last year. I got pregnant my first cycle of clomid. There's a book by Sandy Robertson called "Getting pregnant over 40" you should check it out. She was 44 when she had her first. This was after failed medical treatments.

be careful of taking too many vitamins.  too much vit a and zinc is bad for baby.  can cause ntd's like spina bifida cystica and occulta and holoprosencephaly and anencephaly and cephaloceles and meningemyeloceles just to name a few.  so be careful and DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE COLD EZE!!!!!!! it's ZINC.  Too much zinc will cause NTD's. (neural tube defects)

Thank you for the info. I'm not taking any of that plus I'm seeing a naturopath Fri who can tell me what to continue/stop taking. I'm 6 days late but not pregnant (we didnt end up trying & I took a neg test yesterday & one a cpl days b4 that, todays was a FRER.) so I quit taking everything until AF finally comes & goes again. Definetely gonna try next month.
