Hi ladies, Heres my story. In October 2011,found out I was pregnant with my hubby and my 1st baby and then later that month, i had an miscarriage. then a month later,In November 2011 had my first period. Since then, I havent had a period. starting back in 2009 my periods become regular i would have my periods every month for 5 days. but since my miscarriage had the one in November. Anyhow, thought I couldve been pregnant again, but monday took a hpt and it was negative and felt empty yet again :-\ so Im just thinking it could be my hormones messed up from possibly the miscarriage still. But I do have an doc appt on friday. Im sorry this is long, but looking for advice or anything i should ask my doctor or talk to my doctor about my period\pregnancy? I just am scared thinking that I now probably can not get pregnant again. I dont want to lose hope either. So if any of you mommas have any advice or ideas what i can do or possibly check with my doctor or talk to her about. Thank you ladies so very much!!

Sorry about you loss...There could be lots of reasons why your not having a period. Thyroid issues over or under weight...have you ever been checked for PCOS? I would ask your dr to run blood test to make sure everything looks ok.  I went years with no period then was diagnose with a hypothyroid after being on meds for that as well as Metformin (which is an insulin medication given to women to help with ovulation) I became regular for the first time in my life.  He can atleast proscribe you provera which will make you have a period and see if that helps to kick off things. If he tries to prescribe you birth control to regulate you go to a different Dr. Also ask about getting a ultra sound to check overies for PCOS. Hopefully you get some answers and solutions gl!
