Sorry to hear about the scams! Wow four years?! Why such a long wait? I'll be praying for you:)
I will be a long wait for us. We still have to complete our homestudy and we have to figure out where all the money is going to come from. That is what will take the longest. I am trying to finish school (pre-med and med school...ugghh). I would like to be in my residency program when we adopt, but that is still 6 years away. It feels like a lifetime, but I know we will get there someday.

The long wait is a money issue. Like I said, with the scams we ended up going through all of our savings, so we are starting all over, which means we have to get savings! Plus we plan on taking a loan out of my dh's 401K, but we want to build up our sabings to use as well. Also giving the 401K more time to increase!! Just terrible that we figure it will take us 4 years or more to come up with all the money

We waited 11 months for our daughter Shaleigh which was in 2006. We have currently been waiting 3 years in August for our second blessing. It is very frustrating the waiting. I don't feel that the adoption agency has our best interest at heart. They are just after the money. They have over half of ours and they seem to have put us on the back burner now.

First I want to say I am so sorry for the hard times you have experienced. I don’t know how it feels to wait. We were matched in 2 weeks- not normal I know but with Adoption Answer our average match time is 1-6 months… Please let me know if you would like more information.
