Colic Support Group

Welcome to the colic support group!!

This is a group for moms to come and get some support and maybe some advice or ask questions about dealing with a colicky baby.

Colic can be extremely draining, frustrating and exhausting. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of support!! There are tons of theories about what causes colic and tons of things you can try to help alleviate the situation. No two babies are the same, and some things may work better than others for you and your baby.

While there are many theories about what causes colic and what can help, there seems to be one consistent definition: the rule of 3s ~ it comes on suddenly around the age of 3 weeks, the crying spells last about 3 hours, at least 3 times (primarily evenings) a week, and should commence around the age of 3 months (but can take longer for some babies).
