is there anyone using Dr Brown Bottles.I just got some last night this my daughter has been crying for the fast weeks and she crys all day long so at first we though she had reflux and was put on zantac it now has been 4 weeks she has been on it it seems that its not working. Then we changed her formula to nurghain and that gave her diarea up to 8 times a day so we put her on soy no more diarea but still crying all day long.So last night I went out and got her Dr Brown bottles. so far today she has had 5 feeding with those bottles and there has been know crying. So I'm think ing that the bottles are working but I'm not holding my breath I'm waiting for the crying to start.
I wanted to know if there is anyone else out there using the Dr Brown bottles and what do you think about the bottles?
How can a bottle change a baby just like that but I think it is working for my daughter that is only 7 weeks old.Oh and I found out that when a bottle that is formula that you are not supose to shake it. It just make more bubbles and gives a baby a upset belly.
My daughter ahter only feedings seem to be a whole different baby.I hope it last and she stays like this.Makes life so much easier
We also use Dr. Brown's when my son has a bottle. I have found them to be very helpful. But he is exclusively breastfed now that we've found he can't have soy. Almost all formula has soy so that wasn't helping matters much! The only time he has a bottle is when I give him water and juice (which seems to help him pass gas if it is trapped in his tummy)
I'm glad you had a good day!
Oh my! I never thought about shaking the bottles!! My first son (who also had colic!) started having bottles when he was about 8mos or so, and I always shook them!! And I never could figure out why he rarely spit up *before* given any bottles, but then would spit up tons after having a bottle!! Geez. Wish I would have figured that one out 4 years ago! ;)
We use the playtex nursers, they are nice because they also don't get any air when they use them. And the plus is that they can even drink them sitting up w/out having to tip it up.
