I didn't see a place for non-pulled pork recipes, so I'll put these here.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Roast

1 (3 pound) boneless rolled pork loin roast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Cut roast in half and place in a slow cooker; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Slow Cooker Asian Style Pork Chops

6 boneless pork chops
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 cloves garlic, crushed
salt and pepper to taste

Place pork chops in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over pork chops. Cook on Low setting for 6 hours, until internal temperature of pork has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees

Crock Pot Apple Butter

I just made this the other day and it is pure Heaven!

6 Large Apples ( any kind works I used Fuji)

2 Cups of Sugar

1 Cup of Brown sugar

3/4 cup of Apple Cider

Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ground cloves, Allspice

I cut the apples into big chunks, it saves on time. If you have smaller apples then add more then 6 make sure the crock pot is full. Add sugar, brown sugar, and spices. I don't have exact messurments for spices because I pretty much just threw this together and I love a lot of cinnamon. So add to your liking!

Then I cooked it for 10 hours. Once done you just add the apples and juice to blender and blend to your liking. Your house will smell so wonderful!

  • 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 cup. uncooked converted rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup. chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • paprika (optional)

Preparation:

In slow cooker, combine ham, broccoli, soup, cheese spread, water chestnuts, rice, milk, celery, onion and pepper. Stir until blended. Smooth top, pushing rice into mixture. Cover and cook on high for 2 - 2 1/2 hours or on low for 4-5 hours or until rice and onion are tender, stirring occasionally if possible. Check near end of cooking time to make sure the rice does not get too mushy.

Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

1 package of 3-4 porkchops

1 jar of sauerkraut (32 oz I think)

1 bay leaf

Place 1/2 the sauerkraut in the bottom of the crock pot. Place the porkchops on top and then add the rest of the sauerkraut and the bay leaf. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Super simple recipe that is one of my favorites.
