I have call the doctor's office this morning because I'm streaks of pink and brown blood (nothing heavy and no cramping) this morning, I will probably have to my Rhogram shot done now and then another one at 28 weeks and after the born of the baby.  Just a little freaked out even though, I think that baby is ok because I hear the heartbeat yesterday with the doppler.

  • I am right there with you.  I had mine last week after brown spotting.  Had an u/s at that time and all looked good.  I having another u/s today to make sure we are still good.

Good Luck to you.  My thoughts are wtih you!

  • A sigh of relieve, no Rhogram yet.  Cervix is completely closed.  My dr had me a little freaked out because she said that I didn't feel 9 1/2 weeks so, she sent me to the hospital for vitability/dating.  They did the ultrasound and the baby is measuring exactly 9w3d, heartbeat 172 bpm.  There is definitely only one baby in there.  Apparently, my uterus is slightly tilted backward, which why I was feeling smaller than I am.  Here is a pic of our lil bean:

  • We had another scare this morning with me bleeding again so, we went to ER about noon and finally got home around 4 pm.

We are finally back from the ER, the baby is fine, heartbeat was in 170s bpm.  My outer cervix was open about a fingertip so, they gave me a Rhogram shot as prevent any further bleeding and I'm pelvic rest for at least next 3 weeks if not longer.  At this point the doctor wasn't too concern about us miscarrying because they did a vaginally ultrasound and the rest of my cervix appeared to be closed/sealed and there was no fluid behind my cervix as to cause pressure to force it open.  I have to my ob tomorrow to let her know that I went to ER today as well as got the Rhogram shot.

I swear this baby knows it is our last so, the baby is going to give us a run for our money. I'm happy that everything appears to be ok, I can deal with no sex, lol.

  • It is a shot you have to get if your blood type has the negative factor, a- b- ab- o- The only why you dont need the shot durring pregnancy is if the father of the baby is also a neg blood type.. However you still need need if you have transfusions or majour injurys

  • I'm O- and my DH is A+, which means during pregnancy I have get Rhogram shot to prevent/block my body to make antibodies that would attack the fetus because my body thinks that fetus/placenta is infection and wants to kill it off (in lame terms).

Since this my 3rd pregnancy in 4 yrs, I have had to Rhogram shot earlier and earlier as to block my antibodies from building.

  • I can't wait to get mine (sarcasm there). I think it is the one thing I dread about pregnancy the most. Hopefully this one will be O negative like me and my daughter and I won't have to get the second shot..
