Is dinner on Friday a regular dinner or a quick, easy and relaxed dinner?

What's on the menu for tonight?

I tend to enjoy a relaxed (for ME) Friday.  When we USED TO be able to afford it, every Friday night was take-out night.  However, we adapt....so I think I'll make some pizza dough today and do homemade pizza.

Thinking I might ask for a pizza stone for Christmas too!

Friday night used to be our go out and be served night.  But since the kids are older, and eat more, and we've added another teenage boy to our household, we make dinner.  Usually something easy that the kids can make; tacos, spaghetti, curry chicken, bbq steak.  Tonight we are driving to our cabin, so we'll probably have dinner at Wendy's on the road.

We had that last night.  delish!

My kids get pizza on Friday nights and my husband and I, schedule permitting, go out to our favorite restaurant for sushi.

With a 5 year old and a 3 month old here,I just put together what I can!  Last night we had a roast that I made in the crock.  Tonight, I will shred up the leftovers and make sandwiches with it.

I made two trays of eggplant Parmesan when eggplant was on sale a few weeks ago and froze the extras.  Friday dinner was eggplant parm, angel hair pasta and salad.

What was your meal?
