Do you ever get a birthday gift?

I always get a birthday gift. Birthdays are important. It's your very own special day; the day God created you and placed you on this planet. If nobody else would give me a gift, I'd give one to myself, just to make my day special.

I haven't gotten mine yet ...  I wanted an electric tea kettle so I won't boil away all the tea water.

Luv tea and tea sandwiches ... I use the recipe on the back of the Knorr'sVegetable soup box and prepare theKnorr spinach dip, then use the dip as the filling in my tea sandwiches. Do you make tea sandwiches?

Yes; usually something simple from DH, which is exactly what I want and the kids make me a card :)  My mom & dad usually get me something as well.

Are you asking do we get gifts for ourselves or do we get gifts from others?? My birthday is Dec 22nd so my birthday is usually skimpy orr forgotten in the holiday shuffle, this year I got myself a laptop (a doorbuster on black friday) but I told my hubby it was my b-day present so I can get my photography business going! :) My hubby is good to remember and always do something special and have the kids make me cards and such! :)

not usually. My birthday is in the same week as 2 of my kids so we usually just skip my birthday.

I wish I at least got a cake...lol, actually maybe not...My birthday falls right after my 3yo's (were 3 days apart) So he's the one that's been getting the parties, and the cake, and to be honest in my family were all born around the same time...My dad 5/28- my aunt 6/1- DS 6/5 - Me 6/8 - My mom 6/19 & grandmother 6/28...After June I really don't want to look at another cake..lol

Though a gift would be nice..   :)

 My husband is ALWAYS gone over my birthday. He's in the army and seems to always always have some sort of tdy over the entire month of July. So I rarely get a gift from him, which is fine. We always have a date night to celebrate whenever he is finally home. My mom always gets me a gift though. This year it was an awesome bread machine! And my little one always makes me a card

Rarely!  My Birthday is January 3, so I got a lot of "Here's your Christmas AND Birthday present"'s when i was growing up.  I am used to the dissapointment :)  so I don't really expect one.
