fetichini ( I know I spelled that wrong lol) alfredo
Ok, I absolutely love this dish, but don't know how to make it. Sometimes we'll use the knorr alfredo noodles and then add chicken to it or peas or something. But does someone have a good and easy recipe for this?
slice up a few garlic cloves and sautee them in a pan with a little olive oil, Add 2 cups or so of heavy cream, and let it reduce. Toss in a few handfuls of grated parmesan cheese, stir until it melts and makes a thick sauce. Toss in your pasta. Viola!
Not healthy, but oh, so yummy! I add a clove of crushed garlic
Fettuccine Alfredo
1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
4 Tbs (60 ml) butter
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 lb (500 g) fettuccine cooked according to package directions
3/4 cup (180 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Bring the cream and butter to a boil in a saucepan large enough to hold the cooked fettuccine. Reduce the flame to low and add the salt, and pepper. Add the cooked fettuccine and toss in the sauce. Add the Parmesan cheese and toss until the fettuccine are well coated and the sauce has thickened. Serves 4 to 6.
