Alfredo Sauce

I have been making my own, because I can't find a brand I like. The jarred has fewer calories, and it would save time. Which one do you like?

I usually get either ragu's or there is another one not sure of the brand it has a yellow label. It is my favorite.

I use jarred because it's quick and easy.  I've never made my own alfredo sauce.

Oh, I think the one I usually buy is Barilla.

 It's simple to make

Alfredo Sauce for Fettucine

1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
4-6 oz. Fettuccine, or other pasta

Cook fettuccine or other pasta according to package directions. Heat butter and cream in saucepan until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper; stir until sauce is blended and fairly smooth. Add to drained noodles and toss until they are well coated. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

This the same one i use.  I hate the taste the jar alfredo has; especially the after taste.

Same here, but I'm hoping to find one that doesn't have that.
