Is there one that you use, that no one else seems to use? What do you do with it?

I use a lot of cumin and curry. They're common spices but I don't know a lot of people who a) cook from scratch or b) use spices when they do.

I use cornstarch a lot....I googled an article on the correct way to use it....but I throw a little of it in any foods I want to thicken.

i put a little hot sauce in my green beans.

I use alot of lavender in my cooking. Espescially in the summer when it is fresh. 

I use many different types of flour as opposed to just all purpose.

I also use cornstarch for varied things, but I find not a lot of other people do!

 I use soy sauce in a lot of foods most wouldn't.

 I use oyster juice in soups.
