Any suggestions? I've had it but never made it my kids love veggies so I want to put some in, what would be some veg that would go well with it? Any certain way I should cut the chicken & for a side I'm not sure about even doing a side with it cuz I can't think of one. trying to add new things to our dinner menu but I hate going blindly into it

Hi, I have not tried to make this recipe yet...here are some recipes I googled for Alfredo.

Chicken Alfredo
http://jennifersikora.com/2010/11/homemade-chicken-alfredo/
Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter, room temperature
    3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 cup heavy cream

Directions
In a medium sauce pan, add cream and butter together. Heat until it is all melted. Add Parmesan cheese and continue to stir until sauce just starts to thicken.
Pour sauce over fettuccine noodles and chicken. Serve hot or at room temperature.

(To cook chicken, season with salt and pepper and fry until it is done all the way through. Cut up into chunks and toss with sauce and pasta).

I make alfredo with lots of vegetables (sauteed in olive oil seasoned with sauteed garlic) and whole wheat linguini; then I pretend that it is healthy. typically, I use mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini and carrots

1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
4 Tbs (60 ml) butter
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 lb (500 g) fettuccine cooked according to package directions
3/4 cup (180 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese (you can't use the powdered; you have to get the good kind)

Bring the cream and butter to a boil in a saucepan large enough to hold the cooked fettuccine. Reduce the flame to low and add the salt, and pepper. Add the cooked fettuccine and toss in the sauce. Add the Parmesan cheese and toss until the fettuccine are well coated and the sauce has thickened.
