They are good to have. SO pulled the cord too hard and broke it and we haven't gotten a new one yet.

Id like to have one myself & the do look handy to have. But to me its not a necessity. I can live without it. Now if I seen one at a yard sale for cheap id snag it for sure. I've gotten lots of kitchen stuff at yard sales that were cheaper that was worth waiting for.
