Got a pound of ground bison. I have no idea what to do with it. I've Googled, but has anyone here worked with bison meat? What did you do? What can I expect?

I just use it in replace of hamburger. I've made tacos, spaghetti, and cowboy casserole with it.

I would just use it like hamburger, I've never cooked it but I know the jerky is super good!

You can cook with it like ground beef to my knowledge. I would slow cook it like venison...game meats have a much lower fat content.

I've only had Bison burgers...seems to be the popular choice here in OK. In our commissary they sell it but I haven't bought any because of the price lol.
